Our elementary school math teachers are back in action today at the District Office, participating in professional development to kick off the rollout of our new K–5 math curriculum, Eureka Math².

This training is the first step in equipping our teachers with the tools and strategies they need to bring math to life in the classroom. We’re excited about the deeper understanding and stronger problem-solving skills this curriculum will help develop in our students.

Dear Dorchester School District Four Families,

School bus routes for the upcoming year will be published on August 5th so you can review pickup and drop-off locations before the first day of school. Please note that this will be the final year we share routes in this public format. Beginning next school year, Dorchester School District Four will transition to a more secure, electronic process for providing transportation details directly to families. This change is part of our continued effort to enhance student safety and streamline communication.

Thank you for your support and partnership. For questions, please reach out to your child’s school or the Transportation Department. (843) 636-5001

Shoutout to the Dorchester School District Four Summer Work Crew! 💪

These young men have spent the summer working hard behind the scenes under the direction of Mr. Harrison, getting our schools ready for a strong start next week. Their work ethic, dependability, and pride in every task didn’t go unnoticed.

Today, they enjoyed a well-deserved lunch to celebrate their efforts as we wrap up year two of this awesome program. Not only did they gain valuable hands-on experience, but they also earned a paycheck along the way.

Thanks for representing DD4 with excellence! 👏 #DD4Proud #SummerWorkCrew #HardWorkPaysOff

Big things are happening in DD4! Last week, our Technology Department received a major delivery, 1,000 brand-new Dell Chromebooks, and they’ve hit the ground running! The technology team and members of our Summer Work Program staff have been hard at it, updating systems, refreshing hardware, and making sure our schools are ready for a strong start this fall. These updates will play a big role in supporting instruction, expanding access, and keeping DD4 classrooms running strong. Shoutout to Mrs. Callaway for capturing the action!
