October is National Principals Month, and we want to take a moment to thank the leaders at the heart of every DD4 school. Our principals are there before the first bell and long after the last bus pulls away. They celebrate every win, support students and staff through challenges, and work every day to make our schools places where kids feel safe, known, and ready to learn.

Happy National Coffee Day to our amazing DD4 Nurses from Nurse Peters!

Today called for a little caffeine delivery to some of the incredible nurses who spend their days caring for our students and staff. From ice packs and Band-Aids to medications, emergencies, hugs, reassurance, and everything in between, our nurses keep going with compassion, dedication, and maybe just a little coffee!

The DD4 Youth Soccer season kicks off Tuesday, September 29, at Woodland High School! Opening night games start at 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. across five fields. First and second grade teams will play on the baseball fields (Fields 1 and 2), and third through fifth grade teams will play on the football field (Fields 3 and 4) and the softball field (Field 5). Check the schedule below to find your team's time and field, and come out to cheer on our young athletes as they take the field for the first time this season! Parking is available in the main lot in front of the school.

Our Woodland Wolverines cross country team hit the trails at Wannamaker Park! These athletes move fast, so we weren't able to catch everyone on camera this time, and a few runners were not able to make it to this meet. We'll be at an upcoming meet to get photos of the rest of the team, so stay tuned!

Parents and caregivers, join us for Internet Safety: Protecting Your Kids Online on Wednesday, September 23 at 4:30 p.m. at Woodland Middle School.

Allyson Morin, ICAC Specialist with the Kay Phillips Child Advocacy Center, will cover the online risks kids and teens face today, including social media trends, scams, and cyberbullying. You'll also leave with practical tips for keeping your family safe online.
