💅✨ Future Nail Techs in the Making! ✨💅 Last week, Mrs. Mixon and her Nail Technology class from the Dorchester County Career & Technology Center visited Woodland Middle School to showcase this amazing CTE program! 🌟 With over 30 years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist and 20 years as a salon owner, Mrs. Mixon has been shaping future professionals at DCCTC for 14 years. Her students—who come from both Dorchester District 4 (DD4) and Dorchester District 2 (DD2)—not only gave middle schoolers fabulous manicures but also shared insights about the class, certification process, and career opportunities available after completing the program. This hands-on experience, facilitated by Dr. Robyn Mixon-Davis, DD4's Transition Specialist (and Mrs. Mixon’s daughter!), was a great recruitment tool and a career pathway discovery opportunity for our students. Future Nail Techs in the Making!

Last week, Mrs. Mixon and her Nail Technology class from the Dorchester County Career & Technology Center visited Woodland Middle School to showcase this amazing CTE program!

With over 30 years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist and 20 years as a salon owner, Mrs. Mixon has been shaping future professionals at DCCTC for 14 years. Her students—who come from both Dorchester District 4 (DD4) and Dorchester District 2 (DD2)—not only gave middle schoolers fabulous manicures but also shared insights about the class, certification process, and career opportunities available after completing the program.
